Description Position Summary: The US Controller will lead the
General Ledger/Controllership team. Will own reporting to our
international parent company and be responsible for monitoring and
preparing internal management reporting for senior North American
leadership. Leads much of the accounting function, including fixed
assets, lease accounting, prepaids, and all other areas of the
balance sheet. Will own month end, quarter end, and year end
reporting, with a focus on financial statement preparation and will
lead audits. Primary Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting
operations including month end close process, general ledger,
balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and
financial reportingLead, coach, motivate, and develop general
ledger/controllership teamDevelop, support, and maintain
functioning internal controlsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual
financial statements, including variance analysisAssist in
coordinating the annual and related mid-year audit processBudget
for and analyze performance of US Support functions (Finance,
Legal, HR, etc.)Identify pain points of accounting processes and
make recommendations/enhancement ideas.Assist in the maintenance of
the accounting system and General Ledger structure and
accounts.Review and post journal entriesPerform ad hoc analysis,
work on special projects, and perform other duties as
